Simply plan your next trip on a PC, download GPS data to your Garmin unit, and go. You can also use Trip & Waypoint Manager to archive GPS data for future use. Back up waypoints, routes and tracks that you've saved on your Garmin GPS to your PC using the Trip & Waypoint Manager software.
Trip & Waypoint Manager comes with a general worldwide reference database that provides basic cartography, including interstates, motorways, oceans, and various other general reference detail to help you plan your next trip. Map detail also includes political boundaries, principal cities and towns.
This trip planning CD is designed for use with Garmin units that have no built-in map detail or city point database.
MapSource Trip & Waypoint Manager does NOT include a map transfer feature and does not allow the reference map detail to be uploaded to any Garmin GPS. This product is not compatible with iQue.
Mapsource MetroGuide Australia Ver. 6.00
Mapsource Metroguide Australia provides detailed street maps of major cities and metropolitan areas in Australia including highways, interstates and business and residential streets.
Metroguide Australia also contains additional rural detail to residential street level throughout Australia. Metroguide Australia does not auto-route on the PC or the GPS unit.
We encourage you utilize the GARMIN Mapsource Map viwer on Garmin's website to see the coverage and details of the Mapsource MetroGuide Australia prior to purchase.
IMPORTANT: Metroguide Australia is a "Locked" map product. To install and use the Mapsource MetroGuide Australia CD ROM it must be "unlocked" to your compatible Garmin GPS unit. The unlocking process can be done through the UNLOCK pages on GARMIN's website. Your initial purchase of Mapsource MetroGuide Australia provides you with an Unlock Certificate which gives you access to all of Australia.
Note: When using a "Locked" MapSource product, the real-time plotting function will work only with a valid unlock code for the GPS unit being used. Barrier Reef fishing exclusion zones.
Unlocking and Coverage
When you purchase the MapSource BlueChart® CD, a certificate is included which provides access to detailed nautical charts for one region of your choice. Follow instructions on the certificate to unlock one region, then download the map data to a blank data card or compatible Garmin unit. You can reprogram the data card whenever you want by simply downloading different areas.
You are entitled to select just one region per unlock coupon code, but not one region from each map. A region is identified with a Garmin part number.

Mapsource BlueChart Data Cards
While MapSource CDs contain detailed maps that can be downloaded to blank data cartridges or directly to some units, pre-programmed data cards come conveniently ready to plug into many of Garmin's marine plotters. These pre-programmed cards include offshore and harbour map data in each region but do not include any software for use on a PC.
