TM8100 series TM8000 Mobile Radios The TM8000 series of mobile radios is part of the Tait 8000 series of innovative and high-performing products, which set a standard of excellence for analogue radio communications technology. This series includes the TM8100 mobile radio, a robust, software-flexible radio ideal for a wide range of voice and data applications. It has been developed to incorporate three key strengths - ruggedness, high speed data transmission and ease of integration.	The TM8100 Mobile Radio The TM8100 is intended for use in conventional system applications, can be fitted into a wide range of motor vehicles and is equally suited to fixed operation in despatch terminals or telemetry outstations. The Tait TM8100 mobile radio range includes: The TM8115: 25W (UHF) (VHF) 100-channel conventional radio with 2-digit channel display The TM8110: 25W (UHF) (VHF) 10-channel conventional radio with 1-digit channel display The TM8105: 25W (UHF) (VHF) 100-channel* data radio with blank control head * Up to 100 channels available via CCDI. TM8100 User Interface The TM8110 and TM8115 provide straight-forward user interfaces with either a one or two-digit display which gives the operator an indication of the channel. Two navigation keys give the ability to move up and down the radio channels. Four fully programmable keys allow the radio to be optimised for the particular users applications. The TM8105 has no user interface and has been designed to meet the requirements of data or system integrators. Typical applications for the TM8105 include: Cross band repeaters Telemetry outstations Radio data links Asset tracking unit Radio module for advanced applications. Enhanced Signalling The TM8100 has fully featured selective calling and DTMF encoders, for fleet control purposes. Stun and revive as well as several emergency formats are supported using selective calling. The radio supports scanning and voting, and includes a number of scanning modes and a revote feature on voting.
TM8200 series TM8000 Mobile Radios The TM8000 series of mobile radios is part of the Tait 8000 series of innovative and high-performing products, which set a standard of excellence for analogue radio communications technology. Part of the TM8000 series is the TM8200 radio, with 1500 conventional channels, an enhanced LCD display and an intuitive menu structure. This radio is also developed with the above key capabilities in mind.	The TM8200 Mobile Radio The TM8200 is a high performance mobile radio that provides a comprehensive radio solution in many conventional applications. The first product to be released in the TM8200 range is the TM8250*, a 25W (UHF) and (VHF) 1500-channel conventional radio with enhanced LCD display. The TM8200 is particularly well suited to applications where a high quality user interface is required, such as emergency services use. The TM8200 is built on an extremely flexible platform, supporting a wide range of conventional signalling formats including: CTCSS & DCS Fully featured selective calling DTMF Single in-band tone. In addition, the radio can support up to 300 scanning or voting groups and as a result of the TM8200s exceptionally fast processing time, a large number of channels can be scanned for signal strength in a very short period of time. TM8200 User Interface The TM8200 alphanumeric control head features a large LCD display allowing a number of viewing options and a high level of information to be displayed. Access to the radios functions is provided via function keys and an intuitive menu structure. The TM8200 control head can also be mounted remotely from the radio body and is tested to IP54 standard for high levels of environmental protection. The TM8200 features a built-in 3W loudspeaker, and a keypad microphone is also available to provide the user with increased fleet accessibility and free form dialling.

Easy to use Menu System The Tait Orca 5020 is the ultimate user friendly radio, designed to meet the demands of business today. Scrolling and Function Key The two scrolling keys allow you to easily move through the menu system. The additional function key can be programmed with two functions of your choice, you can select your three most commonly used menu items. Full Keypad and Display A simple to use keypad enables full alphanumeric dialling. A keypad lock prevents mistaken use and a personal security pin prevents unauthorised use. Status Messaging You can indicate your current status by selecting from a pre-defined list of messages (eg. on route, job done etc.). Scan Groups The Tait Orca 5020 allows you to configure the groups that your radio scans. Channel Signalling You can set the Tait Orca 5020 to operate with different sub-audible signalling (DCS/CTCSS). Conventional Mode When you are out of range of the trunking network or want to access a conventional radio network, the radio can be put into conventional mode. You can access up to 10 channels, each programmable with CTCSS and the monitor function.
